The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday, July 18, 2025, at approximately 9:57 p.m., Hoke County Deputies and Detectives responded to the 100 block of Cook Road, in reference to a refusal to leave. After contacting the 911 caller at the residence, Detectives learned that a juvenile was touched inappropriately by Dennis Locklear Sr.
Dennis Locklear Sr. was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with one count indecent liberties with a child and was transported to the Hoke County Detention Center where he received a $7,500.00 secured bond.
