The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced previously on Sunday, November 10, 2024, deputies received a call referenced an alleged sexual offense in the 4000 Block of Calloway Road. The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) received the report and initiated an investigation. Due to further investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Gregory Jones for Statutory Sex Offense w/ Child by Adult (F, x1), Statutory Sex Offense with Child (F, x3) and Indecent Liberties with Child (F, x4). In conclusion, the Special Operations Unit along with CID took Mr. Jones into custody, without incident on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025. Mr. Jones went before a magistrate judge and received a $250,000.00 bond. Mr. Jones is currently being held at Hoke County Detention Center.
