The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announces on February 28, 2025, the Narcotic/Vice Suppression Unit (N.V.S.U.), served a narcotic related search warrant in the 2600 block of S. Duffie Road Red Springs, North Carolina. The search warrant was obtained as a result of a narcotic investigation involving Sonnie Bullard, Jr. Detectives with the N.V.S.U. observed Sonnie Bullard, Jr. in the yard, as well many other subjects, and approached the residence. Detectives with the N.V.S.U. were able to make contact with Mr. Bullard and served the search warrant without incident. Members of the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team and Criminal Interdiction Team arrived to assist with scene security and served one outstanding warrant out of Robeson County for a subject that was located in the yard. A search of the residence resulted in 37 dosage units of pressed, methamphetamine pills being located. Detectives also located marijuana, two firearms, and assorted items of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Bullard was arrested and taken to the Hoke County Jail where he was charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver/manufacture schedule II-controlled substance, maintain a dwelling for selling controlled substances, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Bullard was held on a $10,000.00 secured bond.
