The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced on January 8, 2025, that the Special Operations Units conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had no registration plate in the area of Blue Springs Road. The silver Ford Fusion came to a stop in a driveway and the driver immediately exited the vehicle and approached Deputies. The driver of the silver Ford Fusion was detained. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Mr. Bobby Ray Collins. A search of the vehicle resulted in suspected crack cocaine, a rolling tray, and glass smoking pipes being located. Mr. Collins was placed under arrest and transported to the Hoke County Detention Center. At the Detention Center, Special Operations Deputies obtained arrest warrants for Possession SCH II and Possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Collins went before the magistrate and received a $2,500 secured bond.
