The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced on July 29, 2024, the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office received a call for service regarding a report of an alleged sexual assault in the 600 block of Murph McLaughlin Rd. Detectives responded and spoke to the mother. The victim was taken to the hospital for a sexual assault kit.
