Attempted Common Law Robbery Press Release:
The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announces on December 23, 2023, Hoke County Deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of Fayetteville Rd. in reference to a Strong-Armed Robbery that had just occurred. The victim, reported being in a physical altercation with the assailant. Emergency Medical Services, Hoke County Deputies and Detectives responded to the location.
During a thorough investigation, James Curtis Shipman has been
identified as the suspect. He is wanted for Attempted Common Law Robbery, Second Degree Kidnapping and or Assault on Female and Simple Assault.
