The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced on February 3, 2025, Deputies responded to the 200 Block of Purvis Court in reference to an armed robbery. No injuries were sustained during the robbery. Hoke County Detectives responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing currently.
On February 3, 2025, Hoke County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit and Criminal Interdiction Team were able to identify and locate the suspect in this case. The juvenile suspect was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office. A secured custody order was obtained for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Firearm by a Minor. The juvenile suspect was transported to a Juvenile Detention Center.
