The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced on July 30, 2024, that a call for service, regarding a report of an alleged sexual offense in the 3000 block of Gainey Rd. Detectives responded to the scene and spoke to the victim, family, and contacted the on-call DSS Social Worker. The investigation is still ongoing.
