The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, that deputies and detectives responded to an armed robbery at the Golden Café at 2070 Club Pond Road. No civilians were injured during the incident. The suspect had put a firearm on the employee and demanded money. The suspect left in a light blue Mazda 3 car. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
