On Friday, May 17, 2024, Hoke County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to First Health Hoke in reference to a Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle. Two of the three victims that arrived at First Health Hoke had injuries. Hoke County Sheriff’s Office Detectives were contacted and responded to the area. During the investigation, it was stated that the shooting possibly occurred in the area of Old Maxton Road and Red Springs Road. Gunfire was being discharged from a black 4-door unknown sedan.
The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening. Investigation is on-going at this time.
