In addition to providing mandated public health services, the department operates an adult primary care clinic for individuals aged 18 and older. Services are offered on a sliding fee scale for uninsured and underinsured patients, and no one is denied access to care due to their inability to pay. The department accepts various payor sources, including Medicare, Medicaid, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
The Hoke County Health Department is committed to fostering an inclusive environment and does not discriminate against any individual based on their inability to pay, payor source, race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
