Literacy Council

Mission Statement
The mission of the Hoke Reading/Literacy Council is to provide basic literacy instruction including English as a Second Language and introductory computer classes, so that all persons served may further their education and build for themselves a better life.

We provide the following services to Hoke County citizens:

  • One to one tutoring (Adults and Children grades K-8)  
  • Small group tutoring (Reading and Math)
  • Computer based reading program
  • ESL classes
  • Introductory Computer Classes
  • Public Access Computer Lab
  • Classroom / Meeting Room (with smart board and projector) **

 ** Meeting Room usage must be arranged with Literacy Council Staff

Monday - Friday

Computer Lab
Monday and Wednesday
5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Tuesday & Thursday*
5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

*Open to Hoke County students only.
